Independence Day is more than just a historic milestone—it is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and a call for each of us to honor their legacy by contributing meaningfully to the progress of our nation.
This year, I had the privilege of celebrating Independence Day at the World Book of Records, India office. The Flag Hoisting Ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries—Shree Mahesh Chandra Jain (DIG, Narcotics Department), Dr. Asha Mathur Ji (IPS), and Shree Santosh Shukla Ji, President of World Book of Records, London.

The Ceremony: A Shared Sense of Pride
The event began with Dr. Asha Mathur Ji and Mr. Mahesh Chandra Jain Ji leading the flag hoisting ceremony. As the Tricolor unfurled, every heart swelled with pride. The national anthem echoed through the gathering, creating an atmosphere of unity and patriotism.
It was a moment that reminded us all of the sacrifices that gave us freedom and the responsibility we hold to protect and strengthen our nation.
Words of Wisdom from Dr. Asha Mathur Ji
Dr. Asha Mathur Ji, with her vast experience as an IPS officer, shared glimpses of her journey. She talked about how we can strive to be good human beings, the importance of taking responsibility in life, and the role of maturity in shaping our actions and decisions.
Her message was clear: true achievement lies not just in personal milestones but in uplifting others, inspiring growth, and leaving a legacy of service.

Guidance from Shree Mahesh Chandra Jain Ji
Shree Mahesh Chandra Jain Ji spoke passionately about the importance of contributing to the nation in everyday life. He emphasized that patriotism goes beyond ceremonies—it is reflected in the honesty of our work, the responsibility we show toward society, and the compassion with which we treat others.
His words were a reminder that each one of us can be an active participant in nation-building, no matter our profession.

A Special Time with My Mentor: Shree Santosh Shukla Ji
One of the most cherished parts of the day was getting time to spend with Shree Santosh Shukla Ji, whom I consider not just a mentor but also like an elder to my family. Our conversation was insightful and filled with warmth.
We discussed many aspects of professional and personal growth, and he kindly suggested a few valuable strategies for me to implement in my business. His vision and guidance always inspire me to think bigger and aim higher.
What made this moment truly special was the blessing he gave me—an affirmation that strengthens my resolve to keep working with sincerity, purpose, and dedication.

The Spirit of Independence
The presence of such inspiring personalities made this celebration not just ceremonial but transformational. Their experiences and wisdom encouraged us to reflect on how we can carry forward the values of independence—through unity, integrity, and service to society.
As the event concluded, there was a sense of renewed energy and purpose in the air. It was a day that reminded us that independence is both a gift and a responsibility—a responsibility to build a better future for generations to come.
Moving Forward Together
My heartfelt gratitude to World Book of Records, India, for organizing this memorable celebration. It was a perfect blend of tradition, pride, and inspiration.
As we step ahead, let us hold on to the lessons of the day: to live with purpose, serve with dedication, and always put our nation first.
